Jere Bensko, Minister of Music

Jere Bensko (also known as Jere Wayne) is a hometown boy who was born on March 28, 1977 to John Wayne and Johnnie Glasscock Bensko.

At the age of six (6), on March 27, 1983, Jere accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and also joined Sharon Heights Baptist Church.

In the Spring of 1995, Jere became the pianist for Sharon Heights Baptist Church. In February of 1997 he became the Interim Music Director at Sharon Heights. In February of 1998, Jere accepted the position of the Music Director for Sharon Heights.

Jere met Kristy Hand in high school and through the Youth Group at Sharon Heights. They were married on September 12th, 1998.

Jere and Kristy are the proud, dedicated parents of Connor Wayne, Callie Ruth and Carter Wesley.

Jere works full time at EBSCO Media; his staff position with Sharon Heights is classified as a part-time job although his heart is that of a full-time servant for the Lord.
