Study and Worship this Sunday. Our site
will hopefully help you learn a little about our church and answer
some questions you may have about our
services and ministries.

Location
Sharon Heights is located on 520 Bivens Brookside Road,
Brookside, Al. We are at the end of Coalburg Road. We have visitors
parking and volunteers at the door to help you find your way around
our facilities.

Worship Services
Sharon Heights combines strong biblical teaching led by Pastor
Jason Dunlap with dynamic blended worship led by our Music
Minister, Jere Bensko. Worship Services are held on Sunday
mornings at 10:45 AM and Sunday evenings
at 6 PM. On Wednesday nights we have a
Bible study for the adults in the sanctuary and also missions
classes for preschoolers through our youth department.
Bible Study
We offer many different Bible Study classes for married adults,
single adults, students and children. Bible study offers members
& guests a place to meet in small groups which allows us to
meet new people, get to know each other better, and grow deeper in
our faith. Bible Study classes meet at 9:30
AM on Sunday mornings.
Childcare
Sharon Heights Baptist offers childcare in a secure facility. Each
parent and child check in at the welcome station and receive a pager
and also matching security labels. There is also a deacon that is
responsible for checking the halls during extended session time.
During this time (worship in the sanctuary) the preschoolers (Bed
babies through 4 year olds) are engaged in different activities such
as puppets, singing, playrooms, movies, etc.
Children’s Worship:
Sharon Heights is blessed to have a time of worship for children
(K5-4th Grade) during the morning worship hour on Sunday morning.
There will be most of the time four adults leading this time of
worship.
What Should I Expect When I Get to the Church and Where Do I Go?
The first and most important thing about your first visit is for
you and your family to know that you are “wanted” at SHBC.
Immediately when you pull into our parking lot there will be a
friendly face with a smile that will lead you to our Welcome table
and then escort you to the class of your choice or the sanctuary,
depending on the time that you come.
