The Children’s Department at SHBC is the place to be! We have classes for all ages with great teachers ready to share God’s love with you each and every Sunday. Their lessons are designed to meet each child’s level of learning. There are memory verses, music, application activities, and always the lessons from the Bible shared each and every Sunday during the Sunday School hour. Then as we move into the Worship hour, your child (Grades K-4) will go into our KidStyle Worship with our children’s church leaders. They are on a rotating schedule where the lessons learned in Sunday School are enhanced a little more with Praise & Worship music, more application activities and memory verse time, more in depth study of the lessons from the Bible and a DVD video is shared that builds on itself from week to week to make the Bible study a fun learning experience. That’s why it’s called KidStyle Worship! It’s all about FUN, FUN, FUN, but we still feel the most important aspect of the Children’s Department is that your children grow spiritually each time they are at church. On Sunday nights SHBC does Team Kids for your children’s discipleship time. This is a awesome program that we have been using for several years now that encourages your child to apply what they learn from the Bible to their everyday life. Even at a young age our children need to know being a Christian is everyday in all we do and say. On Wednesday evenings we focus on Missions here at Sharon Heights. Our children will be in the Girl’s in Action ( GA’s-girls ) or Royal Ambassadors ( RA’s-boys ) each Wednesday and will be challenged in the area of missions.
