From Kids Pastor Dave…
The Children’s Ministry at Sharon Heights Baptist Church is focused
on introducing children to Jesus and helping them grow spiritually.
We have classes for all ages with great teachers ready to share
God’s love each week with lessons designed to meet each child’s
level of learning.
The worship week kicks off every Sunday morning with Sunday School
where children are learning God’s Word through Bible memory verses,
music, application activities, and Bible lessons. After Sunday
School, we move into Children’s Church (Grades K5 thru 4th) where
the children experience Worship KidStyle. Worship KidStyle is an
interactive worship experience that brings Bible stories to life and
applies Bible truths in a way that kids will understand with Praise
& Worship music, application activities and video, puppets, games,
Bible memory verses, and Bible Stories. We have fun while learning
God’s Word.
Sunday nights our children are part of TeamKid discipleship
training. This is an awesome program that encourages children to
apply what they learn from the Bible to their everyday life. Even at
a young age our children need to know that being a Christian should
be demonstrated every day in everything we do and say.
Wednesday night is missions night at SHBC. Our program offers Girls
In Action (GA’s) for girls and Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) for boys.
The focus is on carrying the Gospel of Jesus to the world starting
with our own community and spreading out from there according to
Acts 1:8.

Church where we are building the Kingdom of God one child at a time.
