Church Calendar & Announcements on Website The official church calendar and most up-to-date announcements are now available as tabs on the top of the church website. Have an announcement? Let Brother Will Jackson know.

Get texts about important SHBC info! The church is now able to send important messages via text, not just email! If you would like to sign up to receive text messages from the church, we are legally required for you to “opt-in” via this quick form. You can opt-out by using the same form. You will NOT receive texts from the church until you complete the form or call the church office to specifically request to be added to our new text list. Thank you for your understanding. We will keep texts to important information and a weekly link to this page on our website once the announcements have been updated.

Prayer starts with you.

What’s your calling? Did you know that God called YOU!?! The Biblical word for “church” means “called-out.” We are called out of sin and into a Christ-centered life. As part of that life, God equips us to do the work of the church. Where are you called to serve? Is it with babies? Running sound? Singing in the choir? Joining a Connect Team? The church needs YOU. Pray about where you can serve.

Update Your Contact Info! We are working on updating contact information church-wide. Even if you think we have it correct, please fill out a card in the lobby. Let us know if you prefer phone, text, email, or mail communication! You can also fill-out an online form here.

Safety Plans & Training Our church leadership and safety teams are updating all of our safety plans and training to make sure each ministry area can focus on their mission. As we have moved Sunday School rooms, make sure you know the location of the fire exits in your area. Stay tuned in coming weeks for more information. If you have any specific questions or concerns, speak with Brothers Will or Corey.

Got Kids Under 18? We now ask that all church members use the elevator as their primary entrance to the second floor to help improve our church security. We will begin checking-in all preschool, children, and youth at a new Safety Desk in the elevator lobby of the second floor. The check-in process will change over the next few weeks as we implement an app based check-in software. Volunteers in preschool, children, and youth will get more information and training as we continue to update our safety protocols. Parents please also make sure your contact information is up to date!

Don’t Forget the Watering Hole! Different adult Sunday school classes bring pot-luck breakfast to help fuel us for 9:45AM study in the Bible. Make sure you don’t forget (but don’t worry you can still eat … there is always plenty!)
